About us

Welcome to BTB Catering! We are proud graduates of Providence Culinary Training School, driven by a deep passion for cooking and a heartfelt love for the High Point community. What began as a dream turned into a life-changing decision to attend culinary school, and it’s been one of the best choices we’ve ever made.

Our experience at Providence not only refined our skills in the kitchen but also strengthened our commitment to serve others through food. Every dish we prepare is made with intention, joy, and the desire to bring people together in High Point. We thank God for the incredible opportunity and the blessings that have brought us here.

We invite you to be part of this journey. Whether you’re tasting our food, supporting our growth, or simply following along—welcome to the table.

Our goal

At BTB Catering, our main goal is to provide an exceptional culinary experience for our customers in High Point. We want them to feel the love and dedication we put into every dish. We’re still walking this path, and though there are challenges, we know God has never left our side.

This is just the beginning. We want to share our journey with you—not just the struggles, but the hope, the lessons, the growth, and the blessings. If you’re going through a hard season, we hope our story reminds you that your breakthrough could be just around the corner.

Our story

Welcome to Our Journey. Let’s Eat.

On January 5th, 2023, our lives changed in an instant. We were wrongly evicted from our home and forced to pack up everything we had. With nowhere to go, we moved in with our grandmother for three months. After that, our lives became a series of hotel stays—when we could afford them. When we couldn’t, we slept in our car or stayed in shelters.

This was the hardest season we’ve ever faced. We were constantly moving from one place to another, never able to settle. Friends and family we thought we could depend on turned away. We had nothing—but we still had our faith. Through every dark moment, we believed God was with us. He gave us strength, wisdom, and hope. Even when we weren’t always obedient, He never gave up on us. He guided us, gently but firmly, on the path we needed to walk.

Fast forward to June 2024. We received a clear message from God: “If you don’t obey Me and give Me your time, you’ll stay in this situation for another two years.” It was a wake-up call. We knew we had to make a choice. So we decided to fully trust God—and obey.

On June 7th, 2024, God revealed our next step: go to the shelter. We went, and though it wasn’t easy, it was the right decision. Almost immediately, doors began to open. God placed the right people in our path. One of them told us about Providence Culinary Training School, located nearby. We enrolled—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

The environment was warm, welcoming, and filled with purpose. We felt like we were finally in a space where we could grow—not just professionally, but spiritually and emotionally. We moved back into a hotel, thinking things were turning around. But as we got comfortable, new challenges emerged. Our car was taken away, forcing us back to public transportation. Hotel prices soared. Once again, we returned to the shelter—but this time, it felt different. We didn’t want to be there. But we knew this was just a temporary season. And we trusted that God was still working behind the scenes.

Then came the breakthroughs. God blessed us with new job opportunities through Providence Culinary. A month later, He blessed us with a new car. And just three weeks after that, we received the biggest blessing of all: a new home. We went from having nothing… to having everything we need. Not all at once, and not without pain—but through God’s timing and faithfulness.
